Weekly Postings

My goal is to post twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays. I write a little on a lot of topics, including (but not limited to): writing, crafting, tea, long walks, being cozy, exploring Coastal Georgia and Appalachia, books, ghost stories, folklore and fairy tales. I'm a cultivator and curator of lovely little things and you'll find a lot of photographs of these collections and obsessions. Think of my blog as a Cabinet of Curiosities stuck someplace between a rambling country house in Northern England and that cottage deep in the woods people whisper about but never acknowledge.

The first Wednesday of every month is the Insecure Writer's Support Group gathering. These posts will be a bit of insight into my own writing and some encouragement from those far wiser than I.

I hope you enjoy these musings as well as the creations they inspire. I invite you to share your own stories with me, your own collections, musings, wanderings, and wonderings.

By all means, shoot me an email if you have any questions, want to use anything you read or see on your own blog or website, or if you just want to say hello: jstantonchandler (at) gmail (dot) comThank you for stopping by.

Well, hello! I'm so glad you made it. Come inside and sit by the hearth. I'll take your coat and hat. The kettle is singing and there's cake and candles and good conversation. Settle in and make yourself at home. Don't mind the wolfhounds; they're friendly if you give them a bit of lemon curd.
